October is Fire Prevention Month! Throughout the week, our elementary students learned valuable lessons about fire safety thanks to visits and presentations from our incredible local fire companies.
Students at Honey Brook Elementary Center learned from the Honey Brook Fire Company about smoke detectors, fire equipment, and what to do in an emergency.
At Robeson Elementary Center, the Friendship Fire Company shared important fire safety tips and demonstrated how firefighters protect and serve our community.
And at Twin Valley Elementary Center, first graders toured the Twin Valley Fire Department, exploring the station and learning from the dedicated volunteers who keep us safe.
A heartfelt thank you to our local fire companies for sharing your time, expertise, and commitment to our students and families!

Each year, the Race for Education is an important cause across our schools. Last Friday, Twin Valley Elementary Center hosted theirs, raising over $24,000 to support our students. Together, they ran more than 900 miles, with some students reaching over 4 miles individually. We are so proud of their effort and spirit!
Thank you to our TVEC PIE PTO and all the volunteers who made this event possible. Congratulations to everyone who participated!
