The Game of Learning Literacy Night

Robeson Elementary Center Families had a a wonderful evening together as they practiced literacy skills using familiar board games during our Game of Learning Literacy Night. Families played Sight Word Jenga, Twister by identifying categories of words, Scooter Scrabble using wooden tiles, participated in Fairy Tale Stem Challenges, used their reading skills to complete an Escape Room, create words playing Bucket Boggle, and enjoyed an Apples to Apples Caramel Apple Bar.

Thirteen staff members volunteered their time to facilitate the games and families had a wonderful time together. We even had to extend the time for the event because everyone was so engaged and wanted to finish the scavenger hunt so they could earn so new books to ready for the summer. Thank you to everyone who made the Game of Learning Literacy Night a success!
