TVSD Select Chorus and Tri M Honors Society

At Twin Valley School District, the elementary buildings are fortunate to create connections with our high school students that result in lasting memories. This December, 33 members of the High School Heroes Club visited Robeson Elementary Center on Wednesday, December 10th. During this visit, high school students returned to their elementary center to engage with our students and staff.

The high school students were matched with a classroom and spent the day sharing a read aloud to the class, preparing an activity that connected to their chosen book, working in our holiday shop helping students shop and wrap gifts, and spending lunch, recess, and special with their class. Our staff enjoyed seeing and interacting with the students they previously taught and the students enjoyed coming back to a building that they experienced so much joy from. This club visits our school a few times a year to help with larger events such as Race for Education and Field Day. Thank you to these awesome high school students for spending the day at REC!

On December 22nd, our high school select chorus and Tri-M Music Honors Society performed a concert for our students and staff. The beautiful harmonies and holiday renditions were truly amazing and the students loved the interactive sing-alongs that were led by the high school choir members. Twelve members of the Robeson Elementary Staff surprised the audience with a funny 12 Days of Christmas version that had the students smiling and laughing. The you-tube link to the staff performance can be found HERE. The concert assembly was an amazing way to end the 2025 year! Thank you to all high school students who made our December at REC memorable and fun!
