Career Education and Work
The Pennsylvania State Board of Education established the state Academic Standards for Career Education and Work (CEW standards), making the standards required education for all students in Pennsylvania. In addition, Pennsylvania regulation (Chapter 339) established the development and implementation of a comprehensive program of K-12 guidance services aligned to the CEW standards.

At Robeson, K-4th grade students meet these standards through Career-Focused Guidance Lessons. Four areas of knowledge are addressed:
Career Awareness and Preparation • Career Acquisition (Getting a Job)
• Career Retention and Advancement • Entrepreneurship

One of the ways in which 3rd and 4th grade students at REC learn about careers is through PAWS in Jobland. Contact the school counselor for the activation code to explore at home.
